Creating a sustainable brand, focusing on repurposing post-consumer ocean materials to inspire and foster a sustainable future.

Being inspired by modern sustainable brands who repurpose post-consumer materials to help the environment, I decided to create my own fictional brand that focuses on repurposing post-consumer ocean materials in efforts to make a positive impact on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, the largest accumulation of ocean plastic in the world located between Hawaii and California.

Discovery

The goal is to establish my brand strategy, consisting of the brand's target audience and the brand's mission and values. This will help me in the ideation phase to generate strong logo concepts for Serene.

Ideation

After doing some research and really connecting to the vision for this brand and its identity, I was able to come up with 3 strong concepts for my logo design. I digitized my 3 concepts and utilized feedback from the class to revise my chosen design.

Design

I finished developing the rest of my assets for the brand including the colors, typography, and textures. Lastly, I worked on designing and crafting my sleeve that would be used for my tea towel packaging.
