Designing a logo for an international city that embodies its spirit, arts, culture, history, and present.
Jaipur is one of India's most culturally rich heritage cities. The floral piece represents Jaipur’s history of royalty, hospitality, and culture. In 1876, Maharaja Ram Singh painted all royal and official buildings pink to symbolize hospitality, which is why “The Pink City” has become so famous. Today, the city is known for its bazaars, forts, palaces, temples, and wildlife sanctuaries.

Discovery
I aim to research my chosen international city and learn as much as I can about its history, arts, and culture. This will help me in the ideation phase to generate strong logo concepts.
01Ideation
As a result of my research, I was able to sketch out many ideas and come out with 3 strong concepts for my logo design.
02Design
I digitized my concepts in illustrator and paired each of them with an appropriate type, keeping in mind to have 3 distinct logo designs. After deciding on the strongest concept, I revised and added colors to my final logo.
03Final Result
The final outcome was a logo for Jaipur city that embodies its spirit, arts, culture, history, and present.
